Director Content Marketing
Job Description
Content is at the core of our marketing strategy at EMPClaims. Our customers are medical practices and hospitals in the US and we are seeking a Director of Content Marketing to help tell EMPClaims’ story and lead our approach to content creation, distribution, optimization, and measurement — ultimately ensuring we are getting the most out of our content to increase awareness and lead volume.
You will be responsible for leading the creative and strategic planning of the company’s content strategy, and identifying and managing the resources needed to effectively execute upon that strategy.
About You
This isn’t your first rodeo – you’ve developed content marketing strategies before, and have been deeply involved in managing writers and creators to create content, as well as writing and editing content yourself. You have an editorial mindset that seeks to understand what your audience consumes and where they consume it. And you understand SEO, and know how to make your content achieve your SEO objectives.
Responsibilities
- Drive our overarching content strategy and develop a vision and roadmap for content and content partnerships that will increase awareness and lead acquisition
- Develop an SEO strategy that will scale the traffic and leads we generate from organic search
- Identify, recruit, and manage writers, producers, and freelancers
- Do some writing and editing yourself. While writing isn’t the primary responsibility of this position, we’re looking for someone who can roll up their sleeves and write/edit if needed
- Serve as editor-in-chief and help steward the EMPClaims brand voice
- Use data to inform content decisions, measure results, and identify opportunities for audience and traffic growth
Qualifications
- 5-7+ years of experience in content marketing experience
- A solid understanding of SEO fundamentals
- Experience developing and owning a “voice” for a brand or product
- Effective project management skills, content writing and copywriting skills
- Ability to set, manage and deliver on aggressive deadlines
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-intensity, goals- and metrics-driven environments
- Outstanding grammar and written language skills
- Experience in Healthcare is ideal but not required

Marketing Operations Manager
Job Description
We are seeking a Marketing Operations Manager to lead our marketing tech stack and prospect database, and drive revenue program execution and automation. You’ll further our marketing automation system, develop our lead management workflows, ensure lead hand-off to Sales, and identify areas for process optimization. This is an opportunity to join an early-stage marketing team where your impact will be significant. We use Activecampaign for marketing automation and you should have deep experience in Activecampaign or a equivalent solution like Hubspot or Marketo.

You are a self-starter and enjoy taking a business problem and translating it into a solution. You think creatively and have strong attention to detail. You thrive in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment and require little guidance. You are not afraid to have a point of view, experiment, learn and rapidly iterate. Above all, you are passionate about driving outcomes and rolling up your sleeves to get the job done.
Responsibilities
- Create, implement and iterate on the technical development of integrated marketing campaigns and demand generation programs.
- Own the strategy and execution of demand generation activities such as emails, forms, landing pages, digital content, segmentation, lead lifecycle management and corresponding metrics.
- Manage the operations of acquisition campaigns across automation, CRM, and other go-to-market tools.
- Own the marketing database and segmentation strategy, to ensure marketing campaigns and sales processes deliver desired results.
- Build, deploy and measure effective nurture programs for prospecting, remarketing and retention.
- Build reports and dashboards in Active Campaign and other relevant tools to provide visibility and insights into marketing initiatives
Qualifications
- 3-5 years experience in a marketing operations role
- Experience with marketing automation processes, including lead management, automation, campaign management, and online marketing
- Experience using marketing automation platforms and CRMs (we use ActiveCampaign)
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong project management skills
- Resourceful, self-starter with a team player mindset
- Web development skills WordPress, HTML
Nice to haves
- Prior experience with instrumenting A/B tests, and coding email templates.
- Experience with optimizing pages for conversion and demand generation.
- Prior experience with maintaining and optimizing digital properties for SEO.
- Prior experience with website analytic tools (e.g. Google Analytics/Tag Manager).
